Remembering the Post Office

Really pleasant trip to the USPS this morning. For about a buck, I connected with my client, credit union, and Mom in three different towns. Saw a bunch of people with good jobs. The tall ceilings, old clock, and marble reminded me of Iron Range middle schools and libraries. I thought about walks long ago to the post office with my family, wresting stuff from a tiny metal p.o. box, seeing folks from the neighborhood and flyers on the wall. The barber, with his fridge full of Tahitian Treat, was next door. Anyway, all of that.Mt. Iron Post Office
